By Eric Thomas: According to an article from Live Fight, IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (54-3, 47 KO’s) says that he and his brother, World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (39-2, 37 KO’s) could fight in the future. “We are going to talk to our mother again because we know how much interest such a fight would create and it would mean that one of us would be the supreme heavyweight champion,” Wladimir said.
Tyson Fury: “I Could Beat Both Klitschkos” – Boxing
By Peter Wells: Well the big talking Tyson has once again come out saying stupid comments as he’s gone from saying he could beat Sam Peter, to saying he can beat both Klitschko brothers. Honestly this is coming from a guy who only just beat John McDermott, who lost to Danny Williams twice. I’m British and would support Fury, but saying he could beat fighters like the Klitschko’s is outrageous. We’re talking about a guy who has fought a bunch of pushovers, maybe in 5 years mate, but now you would get whupped.
Wladimir Klitschko-Eddie Chambers set for 20th March- News
By Peter Wells: On the 20th March 2010 World Boxing Organization, International Boxing Federation and IBO Heavyweight champion of the world Wladimir Klitschko 53-3(47) will defend against improving star Eddie Chambers 35-1(18) who recently outpointed Alexander Dimitrenko in a WBO eliminator. Wladimir is the favourite for this fight and so he should be but Eddie is a rising star with one defeat to IBF #2 Alexander Povetkin. Despite two good victories against Dimitrenko and Samuel Peter they were both majority decisions and could just be another hopeful who’s dreams will be shattered before the final bell.
Can Haye Beat Both Klitschko Brothers?
By Peter Wells: After talks of a super fight between Vitali Klitschko and new World Boxing Association heavyweight champion David Haye, there have been lots of articles saying who people believe will win. I wouldn’t argue with any opinion unless they are completely biast, and I won’t write a biast article here. I went for Haye to beat Valuev and felt like many other people he could have fought better, but let’s give him respect he won the title and fair play to him. Wladimir and Vitali are the two dominant forces in the Heavyweight division and despite their quality they aren’t exciting at all.
Chambers: “Dimitrenko is a little more fluid than he [Wladimir] Is”
By Sean McDaniel: Heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) feels really confident about his chances at beating IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in their upcoming March 20th bout next year. In an interview with James Slater of East Side Boxing, Chambers had this to say about Klitschko: “Dimitrenko is a little more fluid than he [Klitschko] is, and he’s a more rounded fighter. Dimitrenko can fight on the inside and variuous things like that. He’s very athletic for a guy his size…I think the Dimitrenko fight was an excellent blueprint for me, and that fight gave me a look at what I will face when I get in there with Wladimir.”
How would Wladimir Klitschko have done against Kevin Johnson?
By Sean McDaniel: After last Saturday night’s fight between World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko and challenger Kevin Johnson, Wladimir Klitschko, the younger brother of Vitali, attempted to go over and separate Johnson and Vitali, both of whom were standing and looking as if they might continue to trade after the bell. However, no sooner had Wladimir put his hands on Johnson’s back, Kevin whirled around and pushed Wladimir. It looked for a second like Johnson might throw a roundhouse right at Wladimir.
David Haye will beat both Klitschko brothers
By Eggert Thorarensen: I was watching Vitali Klitschko outbox Kevin Johnson yesterday and i was not impressed just like i haven’t been impressed by any of the four fights Vitali has had since his comeback. And I am sure David Haye can beat Vitali. In fact, I’m even more sure that Haye will beat Vitali than his brother Wladimir.
Haye talks about Klitschko brothers, Khan, Froch and Mitchell
By Chris Williams: WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (23-1, 21 KO’s) had some positive words to say about fellow countryman Carl Froch, Amir Khan and Kevin Mitchell in an article from the Telegraph. Haye, 29, who recently defeated World Boxing Association heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev by landing pot shots and running all night long, feels that Khan and Froch should be up for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for their accomplishments in 2009.
Boxing’s version of the Ryder Cup. Europe vs. USA. Who Wins?
By Liam Fitzgerald: From reading plenty of articles on this website, it’s clear that some fans have preconceptions about a fighter’s ability solely based on where they come from. Personally, I always tend to favour a fighter from my own country if he’s fighting but I’m not biased. For example, I thought Andre Dirrell was a clear victor against Carl Froch even though I was willing the Brit to win.
