Klitschko-Chambers: Is this fight worth purchasing on PPV?

Image: Klitschko-Chambers: Is this fight worth purchasing on PPV?By Chris Williams: For boxing fans of IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko if they want to see his March 20th fight against challenger “Fast” Eddie Chambers, they’ll have to purchase this on pay-per-view. In this day and age, this isn’t really that much of a shock, as it seems like any halfway decent fighter is thrown on PPV. However, both HBO and ESPN won’t be showing the Klitschko-Chambers fight, so if fans want to see the bout they’ll have to purchase the fight.

Audley Harrison wants the Klitschkos in 2010!

Image: Audley Harrison wants the Klitschkos in 2010!by Daniel Ciminera: Audley Harrison (26/4/0), who is set for a London showdown on the 9th of April with Essex-based Pole, Albert Sosnowski, says once he takes Sosnowski’s European title, he wants to move on to bigger things. The Klitschko brothers. Like every other heavyweight who knows they wont get a spoonful of the Klitschko gravy train before they retire, he’s just blowing smoke to gain publicity as he’s also said he won’t fight Haye as he doesn’t carry enough media attention. More like Haye is going to be around for a couple more years yet, and perhaps would give Audley a go.

Klitschko-Chambers: Can Eddie out-box Wladimir?

Image: Klitschko-Chambers: Can Eddie out-box Wladimir?By Dan Ambrose: Heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 17 KO’s) has great boxing skills and some nice wins going into his title March 20th title fight against International Boxing Federation/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) next month. However, it’s hard to see a case where the 6’1” Chambers will be able to out-box the 6’6” 245 pound Klitschko and win the fight. The bout will be taking place at the large ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, where there is expected to be as many as 60,000 fans in attendance.

Klitschko-Chambers: Which round will Wladimir be knocking out Fast Eddie?

Image: Klitschko-Chambers: Which round will Wladimir be knocking out Fast Eddie?By Sean McDaniel: This has got to be one of the worst heavyweight title defenses I’ve seen since I saw WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko defend his title against American Kevin Johnson. Challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 17 KO’s) has basically no chance of beating IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Chambers, 27, might have a chance if Wladimir was five inches shorter and had no power to speak of. It isn’t just that the 6’1” 209 pound Chambers is too small for Klitschko in this fight.

Klitschko-Chambers: Will Eddie finish the fight on his feet?

Image: Klitschko-Chambers: Will Eddie finish the fight on his feet?By Dave Lahr: It’s difficult to get excited about IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko’s next bout against American Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) on March 20th, at the ESPRIT arena, in Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. If “fast” Eddie wasn’t so short and fat looking, it might be a little easier to see him possibly connecting with a big enough shot to put the Ukrainian Klitschko down for the count. Goodness knows, Wladimir doesn’t have the best chin in the business and it doesn’t take a major league puncher to knock his lights out for the night. I’d personally rate Klitschko’s glass jaw about the same as the china-chinned WBA heavyweight champion David Haye.

Klitschko vs. Chambers: A slaughter in the making?

Image: Klitschko vs. Chambers: A slaughter in the making?By Jason Kim: Heavyweight challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) faces the formidable task of trying to find a way to beat the huge 6’6” 245 pound IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) next month on March 20th at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, German. Chambers, 27, is lacking in almost every category imaginable for this fight aside from self confidence. If that was all he needed to beat the 33-year-old Klitschko then it wouldn’t be so much of a problem, but unfortunately the light-hitting Chambers is going to need a lot more than inner self belief to beat the Ukrainian Klitschko.

Klitschko vs. Chambers: Can Fast Eddie work some of his magic?

Image: Klitschko vs. Chambers: Can Fast Eddie work some of his magic?By Jim Dower: Going into next month’s fight on March 20th between American heavyweight challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) and IBF/WBC heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) things look somewhat bleak for the 27-year-old Chambers. The fight will be taking place in Klitschko’s adopted country at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. There could be as many as 61,000 fans showing up, most of the pro-Klitschko fans to cheer him on for every punch he throws.

Klitschko vs. Chambers: Wladimir faces America’s best heavyweight

Image: Klitschko vs. Chambers: Wladimir faces America’s best heavyweightBy Erik Schmidt: IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) faces tough task in taking on American Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s on March 20th at the large ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Chambers, 27, is perceived by many to be American’s number #1 heavyweight. The unofficial title previously was held by Chris Arreola. However, after getting totally dominated and stopped by Wladimir’s older brother World Boxing Council heavyweight Vitali Klitschko in a 10th round stoppage last year, the title is now currently held by Chambers.

Wladimir Klitschko vs. Eddie Chambers won’t be shown on HBO; it will be on PPV – News

Image: Wladimir Klitschko vs. Eddie Chambers won’t be shown on HBO; it will be on PPV – NewsBy Jim Dower: Unfortunately for boxing fans of IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, if they want to see him fight American challenger Eddie Chambers on March 20th they will have to pay to see the fight on Pay-Per-View. HBO has decided not to show the Klitschko-Chambers fight because their schedule “didn’t match-up with the fight date,” says ESPN writer Dan Rafael.

What’s the logical outcome of a Haye vs. Klitschko bout?

Image: What’s the logical outcome of a Haye vs. Klitschko bout?By Scott Gilfoid: After looking at trainer Freddie Roach’s interview yesterday at the Telegraph in which Roach said that the Klitschko brothers were winnable fights for Haye, I got the distinct impression that Roach wouldn’t mind being the trainer for Haye. He had a ton of nice things to say about him and it was mildly amusing to watch Roach talking about Haye as if he was the second coming of Mike Tyson. But how would Haye stand up to the stresses of being pounded on by the Klitschko brothers for 12 rounds?
