By Jim Dower: After learning that undefeated lightweight Edwin Valero (27-0, 27 KO’s) was interested in fighting him, World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley answered in the affirmative, saying “Let’s get it on! Let’s make the fight happen.” Bradley (25-0, 11 KO’s) is considered to be the best fighter in the light welterweight division after beating Junior Witter, Edner Cherry, Kendall Holt and Lamont Peterson in the past two years.

Floyd Mayweather’s options: Mosley, Bradley and more
By Peter Wells: In boxing it’s become a sport where fighters seem to run out of opponents or they think they have. Most of the time they don’t want to fight other top fighters, and decide to fight opponents who don’t stand a chance. This is why people say boxing is going downhill, but you still get fighters who fight the best, like Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez and even Ricky Hatton who’s never been scared to go up against the pound for pound best.
Would Marquez or Bradley been a better choice for Pacquiao?
By Sean McDaniel: WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be facing Joshua Clottey (35-3, 20 KO’s) on March 13th. Clottey, a Top Rank fighter like Pacquiao, has been picked as the replacement for Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the upcoming bout at the Dallas Cowboy stadium, in Arlington, Texas. Clottey has been called a good replacement opponent by many fans. However, I don’t see it that way. Why didn’t they consider matching Pacquiao up with World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley or WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez.
Mayweather could face Cintron, Malignaggi, Campbell or Bradley next – News
By Eric Thomas: According to Dan Rafael of ESPN, unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. could be facing a number of potential boxing opponents such as Nate Campbell, Paulie Malignaggi, Kermit Cintron and Timothy Bradley. One opponent that Mayweather won’t be fighting is Matthew Hatton. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer said there was no truth in the rumors that Mayweather was considering a fight with the younger Hatton brother.
Bradley – “What about me?” [for a fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather]
By James Harold: Now that the mega-bout between five-time wold champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and seven-division champ Manny Pacquiao appears to be in pieces, World Boxing Organization light welterweight star Timothy Bradley has something to ask the two best fighters in the world, “The real question is what about Tim Bradley.” The 26-year-old World Champion, who is 25-0 with 11 knockouts is arguably the best light welterweight in the world bar the Filipino sensation Pacquiao.
Light Welterweight division could be in for a great 2010
By Peter Wells: First of all I hope you enjoyed my friend Michael Taylor’s articles hopefully he’ll carry on, we just worked together and he took the credit. Well now to the Light Welterweight division, it is full of great names and if all the fighters fought each other then we could have some great fights next year and beyond. Packed into the division we have: Timothy Bradley (WBO), Devon Alexander (WBC), Amir Khan (WBA), Juan Urango (International Boxing Federation), Marcos Maidana, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Victor Ortiz, Nate Campbell and Paulie Malignaggi.
Bradley willing to fight Pacquiao or Mayweather
By Chris Williams: With the bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao not doing well because of Pacquiao’s reluctance to take random Olympic style drug tests, unbeaten World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11 KO’s) is willing to step in and take on either Mayweather or Pacquiao, according to Fight News. Bradley, a total professional, is even willing to move up to welterweight to make a fight with those two. By choosing Bradley as an alternative, Pacquiao and Mayweather can’t go wrong. Bradley is considered to be the best fighter in the light welterweight division by many boxing experts.
Urango wants Khan, Maidana, Bradley and Alexander but how far will he good before being beaten
By Peter Wells: According to sources from Boxingscene.com, International Boxing Federation light welterweight champion Juan Urango is looking at all the top dogs in the crammed light welterweight division. Those opponents are WBA number #1 contender Marcos Maidana who not to long ago ruined Victor Ortiz in 5 brutal rounds with 5 knockdowns, and Maidana is also linked with WBC champion Devon Alexander in a March 6th showdown.
Bradley: “I’m not a sparring partner” – Not looking like Timothy will help Pacquiao
By Manuel Perez: It’s not looking good for Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach as far as them getting World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11 KO’s) as a sparring partner to help Manny prepare for his March 13th bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr. In an article with Steve Kim of Max boxing, Bradley said I”ll talk it over with my team. Personally, if Manny decides to retire or something, of course, but I don’t really want to give Manny [or Roach] a look at me if I’m going to end up fighting him one day. I don’t really want to five him a look. Ricky Hatton tried to get me over to his camp one time, and it just didn’t happen because I’m not sparring partner for anybody. I’m a world champion, I’m not a sparring partner.” Ouch! I don’t blame Bradley for not wanting to be a sparring partner for Pacquiao.
Bradley wants fights with Khan, Hatton and Marquez
By William Mackay: World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11 KO’s) wants a fight with WBA light welterweight title holder Amir Khan, according to Fighthype. “Let’s go after Amir Khan and Ricky Hatton if he wants to get back in the ring. Lets go after [Juan Manuel] Marquez,” Bradley said. That’s good that Bradley isn’t limiting himself to only one fighter, because the chances of him fighting any of these three are rather small at this time. Khan would be the perfect fight for Bradley to get his name out there for the world public.
