Haye will be following the action as a curious observer. I can see Haye choosing the winner of this fight if they look terrible. But if the winner is impressive in any way, I doubt Haye will take that fight. It wouldn’t fit with his pattern of facing mostly depleted heavyweights on the slide.

Chagaev and Povetkin to fight for WBA regular heavyweight title

By Eric Thomas: Although IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko captured the WBA heavyweight title last weekend with a 12 round decision win over World Boxing Association heavyweight champion David Haye, the WBA has elevated Wladimir to the WBA Super world heavyweight champion and will have the WBA regular title open for top contenders Ruslan Chagaev and Alexander Povetkin to fight for it.
