De La Hoya said on his twitter page “Deontay will now fight on Showtime next. He is ready for Top 10 [contender].”

I completely agree with De La Hoya. The 6’7″ Wilder is definitely ready for a top 10 heavyweight contender for his next fight after destroying Damon McCreary by a 2nd round TKO last Saturday night in a very impressive performance.

Groves got the win but in the 6th by a stoppage, but this is the same opponent that Edison Miranda knocked out in one round in 2009, so you have to put things in perspective.
