By Manuel Perez: Freddie Roach isn’t happy with the way things are going lately with Manny Pacquiao, who has decided to train in the Philippines rather than some place else. “I’m not pleased with him [Pacquiao] training in the Philippines, there are too many distractions, but that’s what he wants to my understanding, and I believe he is taking this fight too lightly, Roach said in an interview at the Doghouse Boxing website. So there it is. Roach thinks that Pacquiao is taking this fight too lightly.

Looks like Pacquiao Plans to Run from Cotto
By Manuel Perez: Not only will Manny Pacquiao have an advantage with the catch weight, location of the fight and the bigger pay for his November 14th bout against World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, but appears that fight will be taking place in a large 20 foot ring at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Is Cotto a Shot Fighter? – Boxing
By Dave Lahr: Although Miguel Cotto is still winning his fights, he didn’t exactly impress in his last fight against Joshua Clottey in June. There are people who feel that Cotto hasn’t been the same since being beaten by Antonio Margarito last year. To be sure, Cotto didn’t look like his old self in defeating Clottey by a 12 round split decision win. Cotto fought as if he was unsure of himself after getting cut by Clottey.

Breaking Down Cotto vs. Pacquiao: And the Winner Is…
By David Berry: Less than three months separate salivating fight fans from the November 14 catch weight showdown in Las Vegas between WBO Welterweight Champion, Miguel Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), and pound-for-pound kingpin, Manny Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs). At stake is Cotto’s WBO Welterweight Belt, along with the newly-minted WBC Diamond Belt, though most fans know there’s plenty more at stake than title straps.
Pacquiao, Mayweather, Pavlik: In Dire Need to Dominate
By Trevor Weis: Following the Ortiz/Maidana fight, Max Kellerman went on to say that “more is required in the sport of boxing than any other, maybe more than what is reasonable.” And even though we as boxing fans may not truly understand, still we demand more. After all, who is in need of a mediocre hero? Who cheers for the simply average athlete?
Cotto vs. Pacquiao: Manny Won’t Be Able to Take the Heat
By Manuel Perez: WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto (34-1, 27 KO’s) has a big surprise for Manny Pacquiao come November 14th. While almost everyone is underestimating Cotto and seeing Pacquiao as the winner of this fight, I think this is going to be an easy fight for Cotto. He’s going to put Pacquiao in his place by knocking him out and sending Pacquiao back to the lightweight division where he belongs.
Roach: “Cotto is Going to Be the Toughest Fight”
By Manuel Perez: In an about face, Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, is now talking Miguel Cotto up instead of tearing him down, saying to Nick Giongco of Fight News, “Cotto is going to be the toughest fight and anyone that says it’s going be easy is an idiot.”
Overhype-Overdrive: Pacquiao vs. Cotto
By Edgar Perez: In the past few months, no match-up has garnered the attention of so many boxing fans like the match-up on November 14 between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto. Even before Cotto stepped in the ring for his last fight with Clottey, the hype train for this fight had already left the station. Such attention is well deserved for two very skilled and courageous fighters who don’t dodge anyone nor are afraid to bang when need be.
Cotto – Committed, Focused, Determined
By Will Cruz: They call him “Fearless” for a reason. Recent reports from Cotto’s training camp in Puerto Rico indicate that he is more focused, determined than ever before. If that isn’t alarming enough for the Pacquiao camp, it should be. Pacquiao is considered the top P4P fighter in the world at the moment.
