By Eric Thomas: Recently, former world champion Lennox Lewis said he thinks he would beat IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko if they had fought. Lewis points out that Wladimir doesn’t have the best of skills on the inside and that’s where Lewis was especially good with his uppercuts.

Lewis: Haye fought the wrong fight against Wladimir

Calzaghe, Khan, Froch, Roach & Lewis: How could so many people be so wrong about Haye-Klitschko?
Lewis: Haye has to KO Wladimir to win
Lennox Lewis: Haye has a chance if he can box Wladimir
By Sean McDaniel: Former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is going against the mutual consensus that WBA heavyweight champion David Haye’s only chance of beating IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko this Saturday is to attack him early and try to knock him out. Lewis doesn’t think that’ll work for the much smaller Haye, who will be giving away four inches in height and reach, as well as close to 40 pounds in weight.
Lewis thinks Holyfield, Rahman and Briggs should retire
By Dan Ambrose: Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis believes it’s time that the aging heavyweights Hasim Rahman, Evander Holyfield and Shannon Briggs all should hang up their gloves and retire from boxing.
Steward: Lennox Lewis would do the things he was trained to do, Wladimir doesn’t
By Dave Lahr: Trainer Emanuel Steward must be completely frustrated with his inability to get his fighter IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) be more aggressive in the ring and do the things that Steward has been trying to teach him for the past seven years since first signing on with Wladimir back in 2004. No matter how hard Steward tries, Wladimir doggedly stays passive and is unwilling to take risks in the ring.
Lennox impressed with Vitali
By John F. McKenna (McJack): In a recent interview Lennox Lewis had a lot of good things to say about Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 39 KO’s) Boxing fans pay attention to what Lewis says. He is the first Brit to hold the Heavyweight Title in over 100 years. Lennox feels that David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) has a better chance against his July 2 opponent Vladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) than he would against Vitali. Lewis was quoted as saying “This is definitely the era of the Klitschko’s” but that he feels Vitali is the better of the two.
Haye to use Lennox Lewis to help get ready for Klitschko
By William Mackay: WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) is ready to get any help he can to try and beat whichever Klitschko he ends up facing in June or July. Right now, Haye is hoping he’ll be facing IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) next. However, that could change quickly due to Wladimir’s abdominal injury failing to heal properly. Haye is planning on using former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis to get some tips in how to beat either of the Klitschkos, since Lewis holds a victory over Vitali from 2003 when he cut Vitali’s eye with a glancing shot.
Lewis picks Vitali as being better than Wladimir
By Dan Ambrose: Former heavyweight world champion Lennox Lewis (41-2-1, 32 KO’s) picks WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38 KO’s) as the better of the Klitschko brothers. Lewis, 45, may have a bias because he previously fought Vitali in the past, beating him by a 6th round stoppage in June 2003, in a fight that Lewis was losing and struggling badly in at the time the fight was stopped due to a series of cuts Vitali has suffered.
