DeGale, 23, was disappointed with his performance from three months ago in a four round decision over Vepkhia Tchilaia on February 28th, which resulted in DeGale receiving a steady stream of booing from the ringside boxing fans who booed him from the 2nd round until the end of the fight after the 4th.

DeGale, 23, won all four rounds of the fight and ended up winning by a commanding 40-36 score on the referee’s decision, but he ended up fighting much worse than the other British Olympians on the same card Frankie Gavin and Billy Joe Saunders.

Referee Howard John Foster scored it 40-36, giving all four rounds to DeGale.

DeGale, 23, now promoted by Frank Warren, has big goals for himself in the future, namely becoming the champion of the world at some point. However, at only 23, he still has a ways to go before he gets to that point and will look to take things slow for awhile and build up to stiffer competition.
