By Dan Henderson: Liverpool’s David Price is expected to announce the opponent for the first defence of his British heavyweight title next week. The 29-year-old British and Commonwealth champion has set a date in his hometowns ECHO Arena venue for October, with Audley Harrison rumoured to be the name in the frame for what should be Price’s first fight on BoxNation TV after his promoter Frank Maloney struck a deal with subscription TV station Boxnation.

He wants to wait at least two or three more years before facing IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
