Broner said after the press conference: “He’s [Malignaggi] like a female who wears her feelings on her sleeves. He’s upset; he’s hurt. He’s going to go send threatening messages to Jess. He feels like I’m a 130 pounder, 135 pounder, but you saw when we were shoulder to shoulder, he’s little. He’s not at my level.”

Broner: Floyd took my easy work [Guerrero]
By Eric Thomas: WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner sounded a little disappointed last night after watching his good friend WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KO’s) ad his 44th win of his career in beating Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (31-2-1, 18 KO’s) in a 12 round unanimous decision victory in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Broner and Guerrero already had bad blood between them, and Broner was counting on getting the chance to expose Guerrero and get a nice little payday in doing so. The two fighters had a twitter war going on last year, and Guerrero got in Broner’s face when the two fighters met up outside the ring at a function.
The fights that need to be made
By Onaps: Boxing fans are like classical music lovers to MMA’s headbangers ball, and as a boxing fan, these hard headed promoters needs to realize that some classic music needs to be made amongst each other.
All boxing fans deserve the best fights to be made. So, I am comprising a list of the top 10 fights that boxing fans news to see
10). André Ward vs. Bernard Hopkin: This is a classic, passing of the torch fight. Hopkins is the only challenge near his weight beside possibly André Dirrell (who needs to get active before his prime passes him by). I don’t see Ward losing to B-Hop, although it would be an interesting contest.
Broner: I’m ready to knock Paulette [Malignaggi] out
By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten challenger Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO’s) is tired of WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi’s constant trash talking and he’s ready to knock him clean out and take his World Boxing Association 147 pound strap next month on June 22nd on Showtime at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Broner said on his social media site: “I’m ready to knock bit** a$$ Paulette out.”
Broner and Malignaggi verbally spar at Judah-Garcia weigh-in
By Allan Fox: Adrien Broner and WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi got in each other’s faces at the Zab Judah – Danny Garcia weigh-in on Friday with both of them talking nonstop trash filled with mainly foul language. The two fighters will be facing each other on June 22nd at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, UK.
Malignaggi said this in video caught by esnewsreporting.com: “Baby Floyd, you got b**** in you. All the bums you fought haven’t prepared you for a real fighter. Lift up your shirt and let me see what you got. I see the b*** in you. It’s not about the check; it’s about me f**** you up.”
Broner: Malignaggi won’t be helped fighting at home in New York
By Allan Fox: WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO’s) will be moving up in weight two divisions on June 22nd to fight WBA World welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO’s) in Malignaggi’s own hometown in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center.
Broner isn’t bothered at all that he’ll be fighting in front of a large pro-Malignaggi audience on June 22nd when he ventures into the Barclays Center. Broner sees his own talent being more than enough for him to get either a KO or a lopsided 12 round unanimous decision victory in this fight.
Broner said: “I don’t care where the fight is. I’ll fight him in a closet, his backyard, my backyard, the Barclays Center, at a barbecue. It don’t really matter to me. Being in his hometown ain’t gonna help him when I start beating his a**.”
Khan v Broner: The best fight at 140
By Stevie Ocallaghan: I read an article from another writer on this site about British fighter Amir Khan and the possibility of him taking on soon to be 3 weight world champ Adrien Broner.
First of all I would like to commend our esteemed friend for his first non Brit bash article and secondly for bringing up this story as it would be a superb match up.
The talk , if this fight is made will be about whether Amir Khans chin will hold out against the big punching Broner. Let’s look at facts. When Khan got ko’ed in the first round off Breidis Prescott, he was caught with a punch that could have taken out many a larger fighter. Okay, Khan should have been smarter and avoided it but even the best get put down. Prescott had just beaten Richard Abril in his previous fight.
Khan interested in facing Adrien Broner at 147
By Scott Gilfoid: Former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (27-3, 19 KO’s) says he’d like to face Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO’s) at welterweight once Khan moves up in weight in the future. Broner is moving up two divisions to face WBA World welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi on June 22nd to fight him for his title in Brooklyn, New York. Khan expects Broner to win that fight due to his power advantage.
Khan said this to RingTV about Broner’s fight with Malignaggi as well as the thought of facing him in the future: “He [Broner] knows he won’t absorb a lot of punishment though because Paulie isn’t a big hitter, but if he stays at welterweight that could be a superb fight [against himself] down the road.”
De La Hoya thinks Malignaggi has a chance against Broner
By Scott Gilfoid: Unlike most other boxing fans who see WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO’s) as having virtually no chance of beating undefeated challenger Adrien Broner (26-0, 23 KO’s) in their fight on June 22nd, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions feels that the 32-year-old Malignaggi is a live dog and can win this fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
De La Hoya said to Fighthype.com “Don’t underestimate him [Malignaggi]. What’s exciting is that if it goes well [and Broner wins]…he goes back down to 140. He’s in the mix down there.”
Broner could come down to 140 if he beats Malignaggi on 6/22
By Scott Gilfoid: Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO’s) could move down to 140 to take on some of the top fighters at that weight class after he defeats WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO’s) in June 22nd at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Dan Rafael is reporting that Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer there’s a possibility that the 23-year-old Broner may come down to 140 to take on some of the top fighters at that weight once he finishes his business with the 32-year-old Malignaggi in Brooklyn.
