By Scott Gilfoid: EBU heavyweight champion Robert Helenius (17-0, 11 KO’s) reportedly badly injured his right shoulder six weeks before his fight with Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KO’s) last month on December 3rd, but was persuaded to take the fight anyway, according to Helsingin Sanomat.
Helenius to have shoulder surgery next week

The 28-year-old Helenius, #1 WBO, #3 IBF, #3 WBA, #8 WBC, is expected to go under the knife next week on his right shoulder in Heidelberg, Germany, according to Dan Rafael of ESPN.
