By Jim Dower: World Boxing Council flyweight interim champion Pongsaklek Wongjongkam (75-3-1, 39 KOs) defeated WBC flyweight title holder Koki Kameda (22-1, 14 KOs) by a 12 round majority decision on Saturday night to capture the WBC belt at the Ariake Colosseum, in Tokyo, Japan. The final judges’ scores were 116-112, 115-112 and 114-114.
