International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan and WBA interim champ Jorge Arce both tipped the scales at the 115-pound limit during Friday’s weigh in at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

All four of the fighters who will be featured on Saturday’s excellent doubleheader on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING participated in a final press conference that was open to the media and the public. It was held at The Village at Orange in Orange, Calif.

World ranked cruiserweight contender BJ Flores will head to Bristol, CT this Friday night, February 6th, to co-host ESPN’s Friday Night Fights studio show with Brian Kenny. Flores will be co-hosting as part of an agreement recently announced with the leader in sports entertainment with further appearances in 2009 to follow.
