(Feb. 7, 2012) – Both Elvin Ayala and “Hammerin’” Hank Lundy have reached the point in their careers where they can no longer hide behind past accomplishments without facing each test the sport of boxing has to offer.

FORMER World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental middleweight champion Hector Camacho Jr. will face off on December 17th against FORMER World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight champion Andrew ‘Sixhead’ Lewis.

This Friday night in Atlanta world renowned middleweight boxer Hector Camacho Jr. (53-4-1) will return to the ring as he continues to embark on his journey of winning the title. As he prepares for the underdog Sakir Ashanti (16-11), Camacho Jr. keeps his main goal in sight.

Next Friday night, April 8, in Atlanta, Middleweight boxer Hector Camacho Jr. will look to avenge his father’s loss against Saul Duran. Hector “Macho” Camacho—a boxing legend with multiple championships—fought Duran at the tail end of his career last May and was defeated in 10 rounds, ending his incredible career with a record of 79-6-3.

Last night in El Paso, Texas, Hector Camacho Jr. defeated Juan Astorga via unanimous decision to begin his road to reaching a title fight by the end of the year. Camacho Jr. took control of the fight early and never looked back, using his speed and conditioning to propel him through the eight round fight.

On Sunday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. EST/7 CST, Hector Camacho Jr. will be appearing on Beyond Ringside Radio. The Beyond Ringside Radio Show is wrestling, boxing and MMA fans number one source for all of the latest news and interviews that pertain to fighting sports.

Following the loss to David Lemieux for the World Boxing Council (WBC) International Middleweight Championship this past October, Hector Camacho Jr. has had his mind set on one thing—working his way back to a title fight and winning the championship.
