By Erik Thomas: In a rather unimpressive performance on Monday evening, No. 13 ranked light welterweight contender Ruslan Provonikov (20-1, 13 KO’s) defeated former WBO lightweight champion DeMarcus Corley (37-19-1, 22 KO’s) by a 12 round unanimous decision at the DIVS in Ekaterinburg, Russia, The final judges scores were 117-111, 119-110 and 118-111.

On Friday, June 10, former world champion DeMarcus Corley took on Puerto Rican welterweight super prospect Thomas Dulorme (12-0, 10 KOs) at the Boricua Invasion 1, boxing event at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City and televised live on ESPN Friday Night Fights.

On the ESPN-televised undercard, tonight at the Boricua Invasion I event at Roseland Ballroom in NYC, Team Puerto Rico’s Thomas Dulorme won his first professional title, the vacant NABA Welterweight Championship, tonight by way of a dominant 10-round unanimous decision over former world champion DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley.
