Beard’s interjection with the training, Hatton is not an amateur to NOT realize what FMS prepared him for. Besides, if both trainers are in the same camp, wouldn’t they be studying the same playbook? I think FMS maybe washing his hands and pass the blame to Hatton & Beard. Hatton is a veteran boxer, and being scared is something not new to him & he can overcome easily. The one to blame solely lies on FMS. The reason he lost was the lack of preparation. Unlike Pacquiao’s trainer, Roach, who studies films of opponents to find weaknesses, FMS showed a lackadaisical approach. During HBO 24/7, FMS was followed by the camera crew. Despite already late for training, FMS took time to buy tacos while Hatton waited at the gym. He was saying that FMS’s problem is his frequent tardiness. A trainer not showing interest usually reflects on the boxer’s morale & preparation, or lack of.
