What makes me laugh is that the Khan fans use the excuse that he already beat the man that beat Maidana so why fight him and then in the next breath they say that Khan would smash Mitchell. That my friends is a severe case of double standards!

Firstly if you think prescott won you have not a clue about boxing and you see what u wanna see,even if your wrong.Kevin mitchell has acheived far more in the profesional ranks than kahn(BRITISH,EURPOEAN TITTLE).These tittles may not mean nothing to you americans but they do to british fighters.Hatton,calzaghe and froch also worked there way up like this,but khan did not he jumped the queue because hes been carefully spoon fed and given a easy ride because of hes glass chin.Kahn has fooled alot of people but he cant fool real boxing fans,but good luck to him because if he fought a british fighter like hatton or mithchell he will get ko’d and thats him finished,so why not go to america and fight a small old legend in marquez and fool people like these very strange boxing writers.

some body mentioned that prescott distroyed khan in one round I think that is because no one knows prescott before khan fight that he is a heavy puncher and fighting him needs a different technique but when Mitchell fight prescott he was defensive and running all around the ring without giving chance to prescott to land a clean shot like khan did againt Katsidis, so there is difference when khan fight prescott and mitchell fight prescott and the answer is style. But if Khan Vs Mitchell I will go for khan he will out class mitchell because khan is more entertaining and has more speed.

I thought that prescott had hurt mitchell in the fight, but mitchell didnt really hurt prescot. I do agree with the the article that when prescot did land, they were more heavier blows than when mitchell landed.

mitchell is a very good fighter, but he hasnt been tested with world class boxers, but he has potential to go far.

The problem with him is, fighting bxrs like katsidis he may win on points, but he will be badly hurt in those fights, as he was against prescot.

I cannot see a basis whatsoever for saying that Prescott won the bout or came anywhere close. My reasons for this are as follows. Prescott hardly put a glove on Mitchell the whole fight and when he did connect, and on the odd occassion at that, Mitchell took all he had to give. At least once in the fight Prescott hit him clean and mitchell didn’t look close to really being hurt.

Ok now to mitchell’s side of things. Mitchell bobbed and weaved and at times made Prescott look amateurish. adding to his frustration
mitchell actually started to assert himself the longer the fight went on and totally outclassed Prescott and actually landed the cleaner shots.

You assert that Khan would wipe the floor with Mitchell, and although I can totally understand Khan wanting to fight bigger names, Khan was ko’d by the man who was outclassed by Mitchell. I think Mitchell/Khan would be a good match up as long as it was at Mitchell’s weight now, as I think he has reached max weight for him, and Khan will enevitably go up in weight.

You sound like the kind of pro American boxer who praises the likes of Dirrell, calling him a slick boxer/mover and then critisize th like of Haye and Mitchell( who both by the way usually trade) but who changed their styles to comprehensively outbox opponents.

Being a journalist you should be as unbiased as is possible, at least when you are writing about it, and you, are clearly biased in your opinion. I do hope that nobody is payin you to write about anything, let alone boxing, of which you clearly do not have a clue you silly boy….
