By Gerardo Granados: I can’t find the reason of why there is so much hatred towards the reigning Heavyweight Champion of the World Tyson Fury. Major media had never tried so hard to destroy the image of a heavyweight champion in the past. There have been ex-convicts and others who ended in prison who held the heavyweight crown, but none of them had been so criticized like the Gypsy King.

Tyson Fury is neither a puppet nor boring, he speaks his mind and I agree with him on many things he has said. Now days we have to be tolerant to many things but if you don’t fully agree with an issue then you risk to be called names and to be tagged as intolerant. Tyson wasn’t born in a golden cradle; he fought his way up, just like most prize fighters he made sacrifices to achieve success. He deserves respect not only as the heavyweight Champion of the World but mostly as a human being.

Why is Fury being treated as guilty without even prove his guilt in the first place? I never heard he was involved in any steroid use scandal before a rumor started, saying there was a test he failed but there was never any real evidence shown of the supposed failed test.

It is known that Floyd Mayweather Jr took an IV prior to his fight against Manny Pacquiao but no one suspected of any wrong doing. A few months ago Aleksandr Povetkin tested positive prior his fight against WBC belt holder Deontay Wilder and the bout was just cancelled, arguing a false positive no suspension was imposed.

Half a year ago or so Lucas Browne tested positive after his fight against Ruslan Chagaev, he was stripped off the WBA regular heavyweight strap, got suspended six months and that was it. Two years ago heavyweight Luis Ortiz tested positive, he was suspended and now he is a top ten contender and it seems everyone has totally forgotten about the issue.

On times steroid use might not be able to be detected, but the effects of their use are very clear after watching their performance and on times freakish ripped body. Does Fury´s beer belly fit to this description?

Yes, it was disappointing to see the rematch was cancelled again, but if Fury isn’t medically fit to fight then why would he be criticized. How can the so called big names cherry pick one after another tailor made opponent and part of major sports media be quick to justify such mismatches as if they were part of the promotion team. But in Tyson´s case, that same media hurried to make stories around him and to be highly critical.

The IBF stripped Fury off his belt in only one week. Then the IBF quickly gave to Anthony Joshua a shot at their manufactured paper title. It is funny how Joshua gets more respect from fans and boxing media than the man who beat Wladimir Klitschko to win the titles in a major upset.

Now people started to say WBA-WBO should strip Fury too. I think there is a very little chance for Fury to avoid being stripped due the business interest involved. After all there is lots of money manufacturing more paper belt holders.

When Muhammad Ali spoke his mind he got praised, but when Fury speaks his mind he gets criticized, even if not everyone disagrees with him, the major media and even police has harassed him.

Without Tyson Fury, Wladimir Klitschko will be able to unify the titles without much resistance. Due that the rest of heavyweights lack the size and reach advantage, jab, footwork, ring smarts and ring IQ that Tyson Fury possess. It was only a year ago that Fury slayed the dragon who held the heavyweight division under a boredom kingdom and now it seems no one can stop the boredom from ruling again.

I don’t think Tyson Fury has been treated fairly. But what about the readers, will the boredom kingdom strike back?
