Tyson Fury says he was playing mind games, he wasn’t dropped X 3

He was just playing “mind game” for some reason. Fury also bragged about having lost over 10 kilograms (22 pounds) during the training camp.

Fury says he’s lost the weight without losing muscle. I don’t know if this is true or not. Judging by the photo, Fury still looks very, very fat, and he appears to be tensing up his flabby midsection in the photo. Even if Fury has lost 22lbs without stripping off muscle, he still has another 40lbs of lard to lose in less than two months.

I don’t know about you, but losing 40 pounds of blubber in two months would be very hard. Fury is only one-third of the way up the mountain when it comes to his fat farm to burn off the 60lbs of fat that he put on since his fight against Wladimir Klitschko last November.

I have a feeling that if Fury does take the weight off, he’s going to be too weak to even throw a punch. It might be all the 6’9” Fury can do to walk into the ring on July 9. I mean, I can see Fury being totally depleted after he loses all that flab.

“Gypsyking101Ok guys, I’ve been fooling you all,” said Fury on his Instagram site. “There were no knockdowns in the gym, as if it’s possible for me to get chinned off a LHW [light heavyweight] lol. I lost over 10kg, feeling great never been so on course for a fight with 2 month left to go. Stripping the weight nicely, but keeping the muscle. All going good, #gypsyking I play mind games,King.”

On Wednesday, Fury said that his trainer Peter Fury had left camp after the two of them had words over the effort or lack thereof that he’d been putting in during this training camp. Fury was said to be still over 40 pounds overweight. This too was a mind game trick by Fury. I guess he thinks he’s going to get the fans worked up so that they’ll show interest in his rematch against former world champion Wladimir Klitschko on July 9 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

The ticket sales for that fight are said to be very, very slow. Indeed, promoter Eddie Hearn said this week that only half the tickets have been sold for the Fury-Klitschko 2 rematch. That tells me that Wladimir might have made a HUGE mistake in agreeing to fight Fury in the UK rather than in Germany, where Wladimir routinely sells out large 50,000 seat stadiums for his fights. Fury has never proven himself to be a big stadium seller type fighter, which is why Wladimir should have insisted that the rematch take place in Germany rather than in the UK.

“gypsyking101#gypsyking #tysonfury fooled you all. Lol. Feeling like a boss, wait a minute. I am the boss! Lol on this ting, retaining my title as the Gypsy King on July 9. Never fear when the King is here. Feeling fantastic roll on July 9, at Manchester Arena, 2016 boooooooom, the King has spoken.🍤🍤🍤❤️❤️🌟🙏” said Fury.

Since Fury isn’t being on the level about his sparring sessions, I’m going to remain skeptical of anything he says. If Fury says he’s doing good, I’m going to have to assume that it could very well be the opposite. When you’re dealing with someone that bends the truth, it makes you distrust everything they say. If Fury really does believe he’s doing well in training camp, he might be kidding himself. You know how that goes. A guy thinks he’s doing great as he labors through training camp while carrying around 40+lbs of fat around on their frame. Fury might be playing tricks on himself in thinking he’s doing swell in training camp, but an outside observer could have a completely different interpretation of how he’s doing.

If I were a Fury’s training camp as a fly on the wall, I bet I would be seeing a much different picture of how Fury is doing and more importantly how he’s looking. I think Fury’s focus right now is to burn the blubber off rather than the actual training to get ready for the Klitschko rematch. In other words, the camp is a gloried fat farm to burn that fat off. I think Fury will be lucky if he actually has more than a week of actual boxing training to get ready for the Klitschko rematch because of how much fat he has to lose. Getting that 60lbs of fat off is going to be a monumental job for Fury. By the time Fury goes into the ring against Klitschko, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s at only 60% of what he was in his last fight due to how weak he’ll likely be from the weight loss. I’m just saying.
