1-LR_FIGHT NIGHT-BRONER vs THEOPHANE-04012016-8466By Jim Dower: Former four division world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner (32-2, 24 KOs) say they let him out in talking about what clearly is the police authorities in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Broner was said to be turning himself into the police on Monday due to face two charges pending. Broner had a warrant out on him for an alleged assault and robbery that took place on January 21 in his hometown behind a bowling alley.

With Broner already saying he’s been released, it means he’s likely posted bail. It’s going to take a while before the legal process unravels and Broner finds out what’s going to happen from the January 21 incident.

“They let me out y’all…. #AboutBillions #Im good,” Broner said on his Instagram on Monday.

Last Friday night, Broner defeated Mayweather Promotions fighter Ashley Theophane (39-7-1, 11 KOs) by a 9th round knockout from the DC Armory in Washington, DC. Broner used his superior punching power to control the fight and toy with Theophane. In the 9th, Broner hurt Theophane with an uppercut. Broner then poured it on until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. The fight took a little longer than Broner expected it to, but that was because Theophane was fighting very hard and not willing to stand in one place. Broner had previously predicted that he would KO Theophane by the 4th. He might have been able to do that if Theophane had stood in one place instead of using movement.

The charges on Broner are very serious. It’s something that could potentially take Broner out of commission for a while. That’s why it’s important that Broner get this taken care of so he can keep his career moving in a positive direction. Broner has the potential of being one of the biggest money makers in the sport in the next five to seven years. He just needs to keep winning, and fight the right fights. The talent is there.
