By Scott Gilfoid: Well, IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) is mouthing off again. This time he’s giving the talented WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) some of his lip, saying he’s got skinny legs, and that he doesn’t know who Artur Szpilka (20-1, 15 KOs) is. Fury says he wants to fight Deontay after he beats 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko a second time.

Wilder fired back with some comments about Fury being flabby, and asking him if he will indeed fight him in 2016. I think we know the answer to that. You can count on Fury running for the hills at the thought of getting in the ring with the 6’7” Deontay. II would venture to guess that Fury would not get within 3000 miles of Deontay, because he is just too dangerous for him.

Fury might have done well against a timid and old Wladimir, who can no longer pull the trigger on his punches at this point in his career, but it’s a different story with Deontay. He is not timid, and he definitely can pull the trigger on his shots. Believe me; Deontay will not stand around all night long like Klitschko did, wondering when, where and why he should throw a punch. Deontayh will be throwing murderous shots from the word go, looking to take Fury’s head off from the shoulders.

”@BronzeBomber Szpilka who?? Lol you are a dreamer with skinny legs & body I will break you; fight me in 2016 after a beat wladamir again?” Fury said on his Twitter.
Wilder then fired back this Tweet of his own in response:

”Tyson Fury, you’re a fat porn star that wears no underwear with a very hairy chest. Just promise me and the world you will fight me in 2016?”

Deontay is wasting his time with Fury, because I don’t see the British heavyweight taking the fight. Further, I won’t be surprised in the least if Wladimir throws enough punches next time to win a close and ugly decision over Fury. I mean, I do not see Wladimir being able to KO Fury like Wilder would likely do, but I definitely can see Wladimir winning a decision if he throws 10 extra punches per round the next time around.

It won’t take a lot of punches for Wladimir to gain the edge in the rematch, because Fury sure as heck won’t be throwing anything meaningful. Fury will be throwing the same kind of defensive punches that he threw last time. In other words, the kind of warding off punches that are thrown half-heartedly and meant to keep Wladimir away from him rather than to try and hurt him.

Yesterday, Deontay and Szpilka almost came to blows during a photo shoot in beautiful Manhatten. Wilder said “And STILL the heavyweight champion of the world” to the surrounding media. At this point, Szpilka started barking back at Wilder. I could hardly understand what Szpilka was saying because of his thick Polish accent, but he was blabbering about something along the lines that he was going to be the new heavyweight champion.

At that point, Deontay walked up on Szpilka and started giving him a piece of his mind. Szpilka then approached Deontay and gave him a little head-butt like a little Billy Goat. Wilder then threw a blistering fast right hand that landed to the head of Szpilka, causing him to back off. The speed of the slap was amazing, and you can only imagine what would have happened had Deontay had a closed fist when he threw the shot.

Szpilka looked immediately cowed from the episode. It was until Deontay started walking away after putting Szpilka in his place that he started giving him some lip. It would have been funny to see what Szpilka would have done if Deontay had turned around and walked back to him. My guess is Szpilka would have clammed up and turned tail.
