By Gerardo Granados: Age is a definitive factor and there are fighters who age overnight. Tyson Fury is correct when he says that the mind might order but the body won’t obey when you age. There are few exceptions to the rule but just as many fighters punching power is the last thing to go. Talking about boxers I think reflexes erode first and after that legs will turn to wood.

But I don’t expect IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to age overnight, even though in his last outing against Bryant Jennings he looked more vulnerable than usual.

This is a different fight for Wladimir and he must take advantage of his experience, he is not fighting against a shorter foe with shorter reach that he can edge on size and weight. No this time he cannot rely on his usual punch tandem and clinch abilities.

Fury does have the size, height and reach advantage but most important has the youth and hunger of the challenging lion to the throne. Tyson has a good jab and right cross, mobility and his ring IQ cannot be underestimated, he is a totally different fighter from Klitschko last twenty opponents.

At the heavyweight division a mistake can lead to a knockout loss or knockdown, the reader must recall many examples. Yes, Wladimir was knocked out in the past but he no longer risk to trade in close range although he does has a suspect chin for me.

I know Fury has been floored but that is exactly what happens in the heavyweight division when a fighter makes a mistake.

One punch can change it all, maybe with the exception of a few like Evander Holyfield who was able to absorb and to recuperate after been wobbled. I think Fury has a better chin than Klitschko but Wladimir hits harder than Tyson.

Far from a potential fight of the year I see this bout as a great boxing chess match in which Klitschko will be challenged to change his usual fighting style whilst Fury will do what he does best. I don’t see Wladimir taking any unnecessary risks and could try to outbox Fury and look for to win on the score cards.

Fury stated on an interview that he was not going to look for a single knockout punch so we can expect him to fight smart using his jab fighting tall moving in circles. But he better not forget that he is the challenger and must keep pressure and impress the fight judges to get the win because if the fight is close it might be hard for him to get the decision in Germany.

I wonder if both giants would try to work on the inside, now a days it seem like a lost art to see boxers fight at close range. Can you imagine Klitschko going under Fury´s jab to work on the inside?

It would be great to see Fury dethroning Klitschko because the interest in the heavyweight division would rise in America but for now the mere possibility is what might keep us interested in a fight in which the contender really have a solid chance to defeat the reigning heavyweight champion.

I am not betting on this one because for me it is a coin toss. But, what about the readers is the Klitschko vs Fury bout a coin toss?
