By Chris Williams: Lyanna Mayweather, the daughter for superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr, says she enjoys watching her father train. She says she’s inspired to see Floyd Jr. work so hard in his training camp for his next fight against WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.

To Lyanna, the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is no different than the other fights her famous father than taken part in. She obviously has a lot of confidence in her father going out and getting the business done by beating the 36-year-old Pacquiao like Mayweather has done for his previous 47 opponents. 47 have tried and 47 have failed.

‘”When I watch my dad train, it’s inspiring to me,” Lyanna said via the Dailymail.co.uk. “I think my dad fighting Pacquiao… it’s just another fight in my opinion. I like watching my dad jump rope because I’ve never seen anyone jump rope like that before,” she said.

Mayweather is blinding fast at jumping rope, and shows his incredible hand speed even in doing that exercise.

The speed that Mayweather will be using in this fight to move around the ring, jab and land his pot shots, it’s going to give Pacquiao fits. Pacquiao is going to need to be able to make adjustments on the fly in this fight because he’s not going to be able to wait until the end of each rounds in order for his trainer Freddie Roach to tell him what to do.

Pacquiao is going to need to be able to think on his feet by coming up with new schemes for him to use to adapt to Mayweather’s game. I don’t think Roach can cover every potential scenario that Mayweather will be using in this fight.

Mayweather will be looking to make Pacquiao his 48th straight victory when he faces the Filipino star at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is expected to break the pay-per-view record for the most PPV buys, as well as breaking the all-time record for the highest revenue for a fight.

There’s talk of the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight bringing in over 400 million in revenue. That would be big news in the boxing world because nothing has come close to that mark as of yet.

Pacquiao and his long-time grizzled trainer Freddie Roach have their work cut out for them in this fight, as they have to come up with a game plan that essentially is entirely different from what they’ve done before.

The cruel fact is that unless Roach and Pacquiao come up with a different game plan for this fight then they’re very likely to taste defeat once again. In fighting Mayweather, Pacquiao cannot do what he’s always done and expect it to work.

If that game plan failed in his four fights against Juan Manuel Marquez, and many people felt that it did fail, then Pacquiao is surely going to lose on May 2nd against Mayweather. It’s got to be some kind of new plan for Pacquiao for him to have a chance of winning the fight in my view. Old ideas won’t work against a talented fighter like Mayweather.
