Majestic felines

As anyone who loves wildlife, both big cats are the epitome of majestic splendor in the feline world. Both are marvelous and beautiful creatures. Majestic and deadly at the same time.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. – the tiger:

No one can deny the beauty and grace of a tiger, the patience in the hunt, the silent crawl to the prey, the take-down, the bite hold to the throat, every move is calculated. Not one movement is wasted, every move is with a purpose. Much like the skill of Floyd Mayweather Jr., every move is well thought out, every adjustment, every trap, every counter, every jab. As of late, he may not have KO’d any of his opponents, but what is important is he gets the win. Much like a tiger, it may take a bit longer to take down a prey, but he does so in the end.

Manny Pacquiao – the lion:

As opposed to the grace of a tiger, a lion is associated more with brute power. Ruthless, relentless, and never backs down, the lion has always been the symbol of courage and strength. The male lion has evolved to fight and brawl, since in a pride, it is the females who do most of the hunting. The male is there to protect, hence, to fight. Every swipe of its huge paws is meant to do serious business. Not to deter, not as defense but to inflict the most damage. Its defense is its offense. Strike first, strike hard and strike relentlessly. This is what made Manny Pacquiao what he is.

The tiger vs the lion:

Believe it or not, this is actually a subject of a long-going debate among big cat lovers. If you have been fascinated with big cats and have been watching YouTube videos, you may have seen old clips of the two felines fighting. Despite the fact that the tiger is bigger than the lion, and with longer canine teeth, almost all of the videos showed the lion winning each fight. Why?

1. Once a fight starts, the lion never lets up, unless it is injured or dead. The lion never backs down, and some videos showed the tiger trying to get out of the way and escape the wrath of the other feline, but then when it starts, the lion won’t tolerate the existence of the other big cat anymore and will continue to hound and hunt it down.

Manny Pacquiao – the heart, the stregnth, the lion.

2. Tiger swipes are like jabs and the counters of a boxer, they were meant more to deter the lions attack and offense. Sure they may hurt, and may do some damage to some other animal, but to a lion, they are not as deadly as how they appear to us.
Floyd Mayweather Junior – the tactician, the finesse, the tiger.
