pac101010By Antonia Bufalino: Examiner has recently released an article where Brad Cooney was able to interview Bob Arum and get the current status on negotiations. What is the current status?

“We’re ready to rumble.”

In the interview, Arum has revealed Pacquiao has signed off to every single stipulation, including the May 2nd date. Pacquiao’s side and Mayweather’s representatives are all in agreement, and all that’s left is for Floyd Mayweather to sign on the dotted line.

“As far as we are concerned, we’ve negotiated all of the points, and we are all in accord. Pacquiao signed off on everything, and we are ready to rumble. I can’t say the same for the other guy, but that’s not my job. The people representing the other guy have to deliver him, and that’s what we are waiting for,” Arum told the Examiner.com [http://www.examiner.com/article/bob-arum-says-pacquiao-has-signed-off-on-everything-but-mayweather-hasn-t].

Though getting him to sign may not be as easy as it looks, Arum hopes Les Moonves will be the one to get it completed. He credited Les Moonves for stellar work in the negotiations and being the difference maker.

When will Mayweather sign? No one is sure, but Pacquiao’s side has made it clear they will not be walking away from these negotiations and will fight till the end. Being that this may be the last chance for the fight every happening, it makes sense.

“We are going to push this to the end. We’re not going to let them off of the hook. We want this fight to happen. The public wants it. It’s time to stop fu#@ing around. He needs to get some cajones. Even if its a difficult fight to accept for him, he needs to take it and do the best that he can.”

Now the whole world in anticipation for Floyd Mayweather to sign off.
