World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the officials who will work tomorrow, November 22, in the world title defenses of WBO champions Manny Pacquiao (welterweight) and Vasyl Lomachenko (featherweight), to take place at the Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort in Macao, China, in a Top Rank presentation.

For the fight between WBO welterweight superchampion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs), from Philippines, will defend for the first time his 147 pounds belt against the WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs), from United States. The referee here will be Genaro “Gino” Rodríguez.

While the judges for the Pacquiao-Algieri clash will be Michael Pernick, Levi Martínez and Patrick J. Morley, all three from United States.

The WBO supervisor for this fight will be President Paco Valcarcel himself.

Pacquiao, a world champion in multiple divisions, won the welterweight belt on April 12, 2014, in Las Vegas when he beat Timothy Bradley by unanimous decision. Algieri became the WBO 140 pounds champion with a split decision victory over Ruslan Provodnikov on June 14, 2014, in New York.

In another world title, WBO featherweight champion, Vasyl Lomachenko (2-1, 1 KOs), from Ukraine, will defend his crown against the #1 ranked Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (52-1, 33 KOs), from Thailand. For this first defense of Lomachenko’s title, the referee will be Luis Pabon, from Puerto Rico.

Meanwhile, the judges for the Lomachenko-Piriyapinyo bout will be Michael Pernick and Patrick J. Morley, from United States, and Salven Lagumbay, from Philippines.

The WBO supervisor for this fight will be Luis Perez.

Lomachenko, two time Amateur World Championships and Olympic gold medalist, won the title on June 21, 2014, in Carson, California, when he beat Gary Russell Jr. by majority decision.

In a WBO flyweight elimination bout will fight the former Olympic and Amateur World Champion, Zou Shiming (5-0, 1 KOs), WBO #4 ranked and International champion in the flyweight division, against the WBO #3 ranked and Oriental champion, Kwanpichit Onesongchaigym (27-0-2, 12 KOs). The referee for this fight will be Danrex Tapdasan.

The judges for the bout between Shiming, from China, and Onesongchaigym, from Thailand, will be Salven Lagumbay, from Philippines, Levi Martinez, from United States, and Luis Pabon, from Puerto Rico.

The WBO supervisor for this fight will be Leon Panoncillo.
