Keith “The Beast” Thurman is the U.S.A. Wild Card vs. Brook or Khan

thurman32By Don Ech: The time is slowly but surely coming for the “Dark Horse” to appear and show his head and his powerful force of nature and that is none other than Keith “One Time” Thurman of Clearwater Florida. The definition of “Dark Horse” is defined as “A competitor or candidate about whom “little” is known but who unexpectedly wins and succeeds “and in my opinion that description fits Thurman totally.

Keith Thurman is the guy that many will “hate on” and discredit because of whom his Promotional Company has aligned him with to fight but secretly those same people also recognize the danger and risk he poses for any fighter at 147 & 154. In my opinion Keith Thurman is the “Passive Aggressive” type the guy who does not need to “bark” at anyone because his “bite” is far worse and far more devastating just “One Time”.

I really do not believe that it is a coincidence that his career is moving at a slow pace just because “Keith Thurman hasn’t Fought Anyone” I believe the “powers that be” know very well that Keith Thurman is a complete danger and threat to every fighter at 147 & 154 especially the belt holders. What I don’t understand though is in comparison to Manny Pacquiao in terms of boxing Keith Thurman is everything Pacquiao used to be and yet Thurman gets minimal support. Thurman is Young, Explosive, Devastating, with both hands undefeated with an 87.5% knock out ratio compared to Shawn Porter who has a 57.69% Knock out ratio with the same amount of fights.

Keith Thurman is criticized for not fighting any quality opponents but so far has already been turned down by Marcos Maidana and Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero just to name a few and why ? Kell Brook had an outstanding fight this past weekend in my back yard of the U.S.A. which I do agree he won, but I also feel Showtime brushed him off and ignored the new Champion Kell Brook when he said he wanted to fight the “best fighters” and Brook only named two people Thurman & Mayweather. Kell Brook is obviously an intelligent and strong fighter and he knows like he said “ Fighting the BEST fighters makes me a better fighter” and one of those fighters Brook believes in is Keith “The Beast” Thurman oh forgive me “One Time” Thurman.

I totally support Brook vs. Thurman in England in the Brook back yard just for some “pay back” and healthy competition across the pond. In my own opinion I could really care less about Brook vs Khan because with the amount of holding and heads being pushed down all night (Khan) my head will be pushed down also to bed sleeping aka boring fight. The styles make good fights not who’s popular which we have been seeing and both guys Brook and Thurman will have an extremely hard time landing on each other because both guys are patient, controlled, and very intelligent fighters with decent resume’s but steadily growing Brook vs Thurman coming soon.
