Chisora taunts Fury after pulling out of fight

fury5677By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KO’s) has been talking 24/7 ever since Dereck Chisora (20-4, 13 KOs) pulled out of their fight for this Saturday with a hand injury. Fury is suspicious of the injury and feels that Chisora might be pulling one over on him in order to avoid getting pummeled in front of the fans at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester, UK.

It’s real paranoid stuff on Fury’s part, because Chisora wouldn’t likely fake an injury just to get out of a fight that would pay him tons of money. This isn’t a career high payday for Chisora, but it would still be the biggest money he’s gotten since his fight with David Haye in 2012.

Fury now even wants to see X-rays of Chisora’s hand in order to be completely sure that the injury is a legitimate one. Chisora decided to play on Fury’s fears by sending him a tweet today where he’s standing with David Haye and Adam Booth, saying “Let’s ruin Tyson Fury’s career without even fighting him.”

Fury said this on his twitter after seeing the photo Chisora tweeted: “These 2 are the biggest [expletive] s in boxing. I always knew dell was a [expletive] house. Disgrace to boxing. Chisora, I want to see the x rays of broken hand. Dell thinks it’s funny to rob the fans hard earned money. Wasted hotel & travel money. Bad for boxing!”

This is Fury’s third cancelled fight in the past year after Haye twice pulled out of fights with him due to injury, and now Chisora pulling out. We’re talking about a year of Fury’s career burned up in the process with these cancelled fights. But with Fury being a heavyweight, he might be able to fight into his 40s, so it might not be that big of a deal if he can start fighting again at some point.

I’m not talking about fodder opposition like the one that will be dug up and carted into the ring on Saturday to fight Fury. I’m talking quality.
