pac43By Yannis Mihanos: The fighting pride of Philippines and now congressman, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) is in a new chapter of his long career is facing once again the undefeated Tim “Desert Storm” Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) in an important rematch next month on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada.

Pacquiao, having lost 2 out of 3 of his last fights, is definitely at a crossroads in his long pro career. A possible defeat can take him farther away from the potential showdown with the No. 1 pound for pound fighter in boxing Floyd Mayweather Jr, who Pacquiao still badly wants to fight.

While the majority of fans agree that his Pacquiao’s previous defeat at the hands of Bradley in 2012 was unfair, still no one can take lightly Bradley. Bradley performed a master class performance against Juan Manuel Marquez last October, an opponent that Pacquiao has had so many problems with from the past. This adds more interest and excitement for the Pacquiao-Bradley 2 fight.

But how will the People’s Champion [Pacquiao] react this time? Any fighter can lose or experience problems with one way or another in his career.

Will we see a different Pacquiao this time? A vintage Pacquiao? Or the most recent one, who has hand problems finishing as he should the matches? Pacquiao hasn’t knocked out an opponent since 2009. In a few words is Pacquiao up for this challenge? Bradley definitely has become a more complete fighter in the last 2 years in beating Ruslan Provodnikov and Marquez. Bradley too hopes to fight Mayweather if he can get past Pacquiao in the rematch on April 12th..

Hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach is doing his best possible to pump and revitalize Pacquiao mentally and physically for the Bradley rematch. At this stage of his career, Pacquiao can’t afford any other setbacks if he wants to remain at the top. Like it says the logo from his sport t-shirt: Manny knows.

I am sure that Pacquaio is well aware of the situation and ready to take care of business against Bradley this time.
