Eddie Chambers 2.0

chambers23By Power VCT: Now let’s “Keep it Funky” for a moment and take a close look at the current heavy weight division. Within these current top ten rankings, something is truly missing but I suspect after 04/12/2014 that will change with the addition of “Fast” Eddie Chambers (36-4).

Eddie Chambers is now trained by Peter Fury he’s currently training in Manchester, England for his upcoming fight against Ian “Lay Em Out” Lewison (8-2-1). Switching from James Ali Bashir now over to Peter Fury as his trainer was more of a personal opportunity for Eddie and just a simple business decision for addition exposure. It’s evident that Eddie has the skills to defeat all top level heavy weight contenders but we still haven’t figured out whereas he will be if he faced Wladmir Klitschko again.

In his last fight against Thabiso Mchunu (14-1) the south-paw stance seem to be an issue even after going into the late rounds however; against Tomasz Adamek (45-2) the injury to his tricep never stopped him from using that beautiful jab only to come up on the short end of the close and bad decision. Now while in England, Peter Fury has help develop more muscle mass since coming up from cruiserweight and Eddie is very confident this will not hurt his speed but it will allow him to move his opponents around in the ring.

This is going to be the time for Eddie to make another run at the Heavy-Weight Championship belt and I suspect after his next fight we will see him again later this year and hopefully against a top opponent in either a championship bout or title eliminator. All boxers from the cruiser-weight division up to the heavy-weight division must take notice with Eddie since his losses were against top quality opponents, and at heavy weight this is to be expected. What I will also expect from Eddie is to have that jab snapping like a cobra strike to his opponents face and putting on another great performance showcasing those famous fighters of Philadelphia, “City of Brotherly Love” PA boxing skills.
