fury657By Scott Gilfoid: EBU heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (20-4, 14 KO’s) thinks Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KO’s) is starting to show signs of cracking mentally from the mounting pressure from their rematch that will be taking place on July 26th. Fury boiled over earlier today at a press conference where he stood up, started swearing and then overturned a table before walking off without even so much as a by your leave.

Chisora said this about Fury’s blowup at the press conference: “I’m very calm, I’m a professional, a couple of years ago I would have launched at him as well, but things are different now I’m older, more mature and wiser. Tyson is still an in experienced young puppy now that he’s moved up into my company and he can’t handle it.”

I think Fury is starting to crack. I just hope they have a straightjacket handy in case he comes off the leash at their future press conferences. The last thing you need is Fury to go off and end hurting himself by jumping on Chisora. Fury’s got to be kept under control because there’s no telling what he can do when he gets himself worked up like this. I’d have a nice straightjacket handy, a mouthpiece like Silence of the Lambs, and at least 4 burly security personal ready to jump in and control him in case he gets froggish at the next press conference. They need to keep glasses and such off the tables just in case.

“If I’ve got him into this state now what state will he be in a couple of days before or on the day of the fight,” Chisora said. “He’s well out of his depth going in against me, for him it’s like going from a paddling pool with armbands to jumping in the sea with sharks, and I’m the biggest baddest shark in the heavyweight pool, he’s going to get ripped to shreds.”

Fury needs to try and stay calm, because he’s going to worry himself to sick stressing out about the fight. I mean, if he’s this bad for the Chisora fight, can you imagine what it would be like if he were fighting a talent like Deontay Wilder? Fury would be in miserable shape by the time he got to the actual fight.

Chisora and Fury will be fighting at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, UK on July 26th. The winner becomes the WBO mandatory challenger to WBO heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko. The loser will have to rebuild his career, which could take eons.
