Bradley still refuses to admit that Pacquiao beat him

bradley677By Yannis Mihanos: There has been a lot of talk lately about whether Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) still has the killer instinct. Reporters mention it on the TV, in the press and internet. People comment on it regularly. Everyone seems to have an opinion these days. WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) seems to believe it too.

Last night, I watched the HBO 24/7 Pacquaio-Bradley 2 episode one. The episode was mostly a recap of all important events that happened for both Pacquiao and Bradley the last 2 years.

There were indeed many ups and downs, mostly for Pacquiao, who had 2 loses but also for Bradley who had to face extreme criticism even threats after their first fight in 2012.

The problem that I see for Bradley is that he still refuses to accept the fact that he clearly lost the fight to Pacquiao. He still believes that he was the better man. It seems to me that he is still in denial and that’s sad because real men, real fighters don’t hide.

Pacquiao on the other hand comes to this fight again like People’s Champ; he continues to be a role model, a real champion and has not yet intention to settle down. He wants to take care of business and if that means that he has to knockout Bradley so be it. The goal always is being in the ring sharp and outnumbering once again Bradley with his speed and power.

That’s all Pacquiao has to do and that’s what he will do. Bradley is a tough fighter and I give him that. No other fighter would have continued in his condition for 12 rounds in the first fight with Pacquiao. No other would have continued exchanging punches in the grueling fight against Ruslan Provodnikov. Bradley certainly has the heart to fight on at any condition and that’s a rare element. An element that fighters like Pacquiao cannot underestimate.

All these elements that I mentioned before make this fight really interesting. So make sure you fasten your seat belt because there would be some rough landings on April 12 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada.
