bradley66671By Alon Calinao Dy: Timothy Bradley, Jr., an undefeated American boxer, is going to defend his WBO welterweight title for a second against the national pride of the Philippines and one and only eight – division world champion Manny Pacquiao on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a press conference with Top Rank Promotion in New York, Pacquiao said, “I’m just too kind and nice to my opponents in the ring sometimes, that’s why you can’t see the aggressiveness and killer instinct. But this time around, I will have to get it back…”

That is right, Manny. Sometimes, you need to have no mercy in the ring in order to show the world that you still love the sport of boxing and shut up all your critics. After all, it’s a sport and there’s nothing personal on it. You have to prove to all your boxing fans and haters that you still have the eagerness to win and Bradley is not in your level.

If Manny will lose this fight, no more excuses, please. Sure, many boxing fans around the world are going to watch this exciting fight. As Tim Bradley would say in their big rematch, “I can’t wait, oh I can’t wait… I get excited because I embrace the challenge. I love challenges and I love when people say I can’t do something, but I would prove them wrong.”

It’s in the eyes of Bradley the excitement about his upcoming bout. And, you know why this fight is much bigger than a previous one? It’s simply because Bradley defeated Marquez in October last year – a veteran boxer who knocked Pacquiao out.

When Pacquiao was interviewed by one reporter, he told, “I have something to prove, like what I said, to get the aggressiveness and killer instinct back. I miss the fight, and it’s almost a year I didn’t come back. I have to prove that I can still fight [referring to Bradley and Marquez] and bring back the old Pacquiao.”

However, Bradley thinks that he can easily beat Pacqiiao now, because he was able to retain his title against Marquez last year. He believes that he can take the power punch of Pacquiao. He also thinks that he is the best fighter in the world.

Well, well, well…That’s what Marquez also said before his fourth meeting with Pacquiao. Let’s all see what will happen on April 12, 2014 if he could back up what he said, and if Desert Storm is really a better fighter than Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
