By Danny Brazcon: The biased comments and articles have not stopped about Floyd Mayweather Jr. since Manny Pacquiao beat Brandon Rios. Looking from the outside in the Mayweather fans comments with concrete facts while the Pacquiao fans comment from emotion and from their own personal opinion. I don’t know any other athlete today or of late that has had such remarkable success and has broken so many records that he now has to break his own like Mayweather.
Mayweather has remained undefeated for the last 18 years and many of those defeats were against WBC, RING, WORLD Champions and guys ranked in the top 3 in their respective divisions. Forty Five opponents made a deal signed the contract trained for months on end drew up a game plan talked trash came to the ring and TRIED their BEST and still FAILED the test of Mayweather Jr. and NO ONE held a gun to their heads or tied their hands behind their back they ALL FAILED.
Now out of 45 defeated men yes 45 in total that Mayweather has trained to defeat often training three times a day sparring 15 minute rounds everyday which once again is a fact, comes one man just ONE guy who no one even knew about until 2008 after Oscar De lahoya, Manny (Pac Man) Pacquiao. My question is how is this one Fighter who has so many question marks about his legacy because of Marital issues, PED use (not confirmed) a strength a conditioning coach (fired) accused of PED use currently with Brandon Rios and a trainer who back in the day had two fighters caught for PED use, how is Pacquiao the deciding Factor of Mayweather’s Legacy?
Today Pacquiao fans are tickled between their legs just because Pacquiao has made a strange and I personally believe a bogus statement that he will fight Mayweather for FREE. Now let’s state facts once again first off after every single fight when Larry Merchant of HBO says “Manny who will you fight next”? Pacquiao like the great TOP Rank employee he is always without fail says “ummm it’s up to my Promoter umm whatever he says”. Last time Manny tried to take less of a split Bob Arum jumped in and said NO Manny is fighting 50/50 and when the fight was suppose to take place before Bob Arum said “Manny has a bad cut over his eye from the third Marquez Fight” Arum also had another excuse “We need to build a brand new Arena in Las Vegas and I have investors but it won’t be ready in time cause Floyd is going to jail SORRY”.
The point is Pacquiao does not have the final say and the proof is stated by Manny after every single fight Bob Arum is the Alpha and Omega the Godfather the Head Honcho, The Mack Daddy, The Boss of the Bosses. Bob Arum has mostly allowed Pacquiao to fight Top Rank opponents and the only opponents Pacquiao looks great against are the one that don’t move plus even if you want to fight Pacquiao. It’s easy to call someone a COWARD when they have achieved nothing and have nothing to show for all the talk they do but when a person has laced up boxing gloves since birth and boxed until they became a Pro and never stopped WINNING since that day and now has been through 45 professional attacks and trained 110% percent every day relentlessly for hours upon hours and is breaking every record possible we are the cowards to not accept and to completely deny greatness in this human being.
