Pacquiao vs. Rios – A taylor made fight for Pac

pac6767Firstly, I respect Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO’s). He is a great fighter who packs a punch and is durable, and I know Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO’s) is coming off not one but two big loses. But here is my thinking behind their fight on November 23rd in Macao, China: We cannot just dismiss Pacquiao like many boxing fans have just because he has lost his last fights.

Stuff happens in boxing. Why not look at what Pacquiao has done in the sport and get excited too see if this will be his big come back. I mean, look what Pac has done to some of the best fighters in the world before.

I think he needs to get his head out of the clouds with all this politics, and stick to what he knows best with a clear mind, because what ever he changed clearly was not working.

Now, Brandon is pretty much a flat footed fighter who comes forward the whole time. You can not do this against Pacquiao, because he will bounce backwards and pop forward with that left all night long. This will definitely create problems for Rios.

I don’t claim to be an expert but I speak the truth, and I think this fight will not go past the 6th round. By the way, I am not a Pacquiao fanatic or whatever people call it. I actually favor Floyd Mayweather Jr. But nothing needs to be said about Floyd, as everybody knows he is the best.
