Fury blows a rod, trashes Lewis, Haye and Wladimir

fury14By Scott Gilfoid: It looks like British heavyweight Tyson Fury got out out of the wrong side of the bed today because he’s trash talking like a madman and ruining the King’s English on his twitter account. It’s hard to say what got him riled up because he’s not really saying, but he seems to really want a piece of Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye. Fury still thinks Haye intentionally cut himself in order to get out of their September fight.

Here’s some of the interesting bits that Fury said today on twitter: “If A@LennoxLewis has any balls left at all come fight me & I’ll have you carried out on a stretcher, you f***** pu****…MrDavidhaye is a f**** sh** house c***. Went and cut himself on purpose so he could postpone getting an a** kicking…Klitschko is a pus**** and would never fight me.”

This was just some of the stuff that Fury was spewing. He went on and on and on. I’m just wondering who got him worked up like this. I know sometimes he gets himself angry while talking about anyone really saying anything to him. Could it be that he worked up a lather all by himself just thinking about how Haye left him hanging last September?

Fury will eventually get his wish to fight Haye next February on the 8th, and after he gets knocked cold in the 1st or 2nd round, Fury is going to have to reinvent himself somehow. I’m hoping that he can do in the ring rather than outside of it on twitter, because people will likely paying attention to him after Haye gives him a whipping that he won’t soon forget. Fury will have to come up with a new bag of tricks if he wants to get himself some attention after Haye does him.

It’s pretty much academic that Fury will never get a fight against Wladimir Klitschko, because in getting beaten by Haye will lead to him being dropped down near the bottom of the top 15 rankings, if he’s even still ranked in the top 15 at all. And Fury won’t be able to get pushed up the rankings quickly after that unless he beats someone good, and he’s probably not going to be able to ever do that. Let’s face it, Fury still hasn’t beaten a good heavyweight yet, and he almost got beaten by former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham in his last fight. Fury was lucky in that fight.

Fury wants the big fight with Wladimir, but then guys he’s beaten are fighters like Cunningham, Martin Rogan, Kevin Johnson and Dereck Chisora. You can’t take Fury seriously as a contender because he’s not been in with the top dogs, and he’s going to lose the Haye fight, so that’ll pretty much end his dreams of fighting Wladimir.

If Fury would agree to face Deontay Wilder, we could see how he’d stand up to the powerful American’s big right hand power shots. But Deontay has had zero luck in getting Fury in the ring despite calling him out endless times.

I think Lennox Lewis could still knock Fury out even now, and he’s getting close to 50.
