HONORED FELIX VERDEJO IN THE 12TH WBO-CUPEY TRACK INVITATIONAL ATHLETICS

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO- The 12th WBO Cupey Track Athletics Invitational was dedicated to rising prospect Felix “Diamante” Verdejo as an example for the hundreds of kids who competed there.

Verdejo (5-0, 4 KOs), who represented Puerto Rico in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, was honor together with also London 2012 athlete Beverly Ramos in an activity held at the Cupey Alto Sports Complex with more the 300 kids from the Island.

“I’m very gratefull for this and we just want to go ahead in my career, always in the right way”, said Verdejo, who is going to fight on May 18 in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.

Other boxers like Cesar Seda Jr., Luis Orlando del Valle and Eliezer “Waa” Gonzalez were in the event.
