Less than three more weeks to go for IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO and the “Ring Magazine” World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko until his title defense against unbeaten Francesco Pianeta. How is his training works going, what does he expect from his opponent? He will talk about this tonight at 7 pm (CET) in a hangout on www.google.com/+klitschko with Google Germany spokesman Stefan Keuchel. Before fans have the opportunity to hand in questions for Wladimir on the official Google+ profile of the Heavyweight Champion brothers. To watch the stream it is not necessary to have a profile on Google+.

Klitschko will face of with Pianeta on May 4 at the SAP Mannheim, Germany. The fight will be shown live and exclusively on RTL in Germany, EPIX will broadcast in the U.S.

Wladimir said “I’m getting ready to finalize my training for my May 4th fight. We’ve pretty much sold out Mannheim, so it’s going to be a great event. For Francesco Pianeta, this is his life chance he’s getting. He’s going to put everything he can to win this fight, and also he doesn’t know what it is to lose. It’s going to be a really challenging fight, but that’s what I’m expecting and that’s what I’m preparing for. He’s going to face the best man in the heavyweight division and it’s going to be a great experience for Francesco. I’m going to defend my titles as I’ve always have.”

Klitschko didn’t have much to say in terms of what will happen in the fight and what his actual prediction is. Few boxing fans are giving the 6’5″ Pianeta any chance at all of winning and they just see him as another soft opponent that Wladimir is going out of his way to fight instead of looking to face someone good that might actually test him. Pianeta may have an unbeaten record, but his opposition has been really poor his entire career and he’s not looked good even beating the weak opponents he’s faced. Pianeta lacks power, speed and defensive skills. It’s hard to picture him beating any of the good heavyweight contenders, and perhaps that’s why he was given the shot because he’s no real threat to beating Wladimir.
