mayweather2344133By Chris Williams: Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26 KO’s) appeared to get the better of WBC interim welterweight champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (31-1-1, 18 KO’s) in their face off on Showtime. Guerrero had problems looking Mayweather in the eyes when Mayweather was close up to him, and most of the time Guerrero kept his eyes on the floor while Mayweather was directly in his face talking trash.

When Guerrero would talk, he’d often keep his eyes on the floor in a submissive, frightened type of way. If this was an actual fight, Mayweather would have been considered the winner by a 1st round knockout because Guerrero looked really intimidated the entire time.

At the end of the face-off, Guerrero tried to say it didn’t bother him, that he would have swung on Mayweather if he was bothered, but you could see he was clearly unnerved by the face off and didn’t know how to react.

Mayweather: “This ain’t Berto. This ain’t Berto.”

Guerrero: “I don’t care.”

Mayweather: “This is the real deal. 17 years.”

Guerrero: “That’s all right. This is what I ask.”

Mayweather: “You’re going to get this. You can’t hit what you can’t see. Tell me how you want it.”

Guerrero: “Let’s do it toe-to-toe. You guys heard that toe-to-toe.”

Mayweather: “We’re going to do it just how you want it. I don’t know you beat; who you lost to.”

Guerrero: “Bro, you just wasting time talking.”

Mayweather: “Step up to the table, easy work. Nobody can fight for you. Your pops or fat boy; it’s me and you. You said it was going to be easy. Is it going to be easy for you? You’re right, it’s going to be easy for you to get you’re a** stomped. What you going to do? I’m close. What are you going to do?”

Guerrero: “You’re going to find out May 4th.”

Mayweather: “I can do what I want to do. You’re not going to do nothing.”

Guerrero: “I want you to be ready May 4th.”

Mayweather: “You’re not going to do nothing, so I can get as close as I want to do.”

Guerrero: “Floyd trying to be Floyd, trying to intimidate and get under my skin. He better be prepared because all of that stuff doesn’t get to me. Nothing he said got me heated because if it gets me heated, I’m swinging, so believe that because that’s the kind of guy I am.”
