Kessler amused by Froch’s Gods of War photos

World Boxing Association (WBA) Super-Middleweight Champion Mikkel Kessler (46-2, 35 KOs) is in London today, visiting the Sky Sports studios for promo shoots and interviews ahead of his May 25 showdown with International Boxing Federation (IBF) Champion Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KOs). “The interest in this fight is amazing,” the Viking Warrior said. “That´s great because the rematch will really be special. Carl is warming up already, I saw he posed as God of War on Facebook. I thought he was going to a wrestling match. Anyway, he better be ready for Thor´s hammer on May 25.”

Kessler has been joined by his US coach Jimmy Montoya, who flew into Copenhagen last week. “It´s good to have Jimmy back in town,” Kessler said. “He came up with the game plan for the first Froch fight and he will come up with a great plan again. It will be a long camp and we will be working hard to beat Froch again.”

Froch-Kessler II will be shown as a per-per-view in Denmark. The partners are Viasat, Yousee, TDC Home Trio, Stofa and Viaplay. More details will be announced shortly.
