By Ben Walton: This week, answering ten quick fire questions for me will be Britain’s hottest young prospect Frank Buglioni.

Unbeaten in 7 fights at Super middleweight with 5 KO’s to his name, he is next out on March 16th at Wembley arena on the Cleverly v Krasniqi undercard.

Firstly Frank, let me congratulate you on the great start to your career so far, and also thank you for giving me your time today. Lets get started!

1. BW: At what age Frank did you take up boxing and why?

FB: I was around 13 or 14 years old and I took up boxing to gain some confidence and build my strength and fitness for other sports I played such as football. However once started boxing I knew this was the one for me, I quit the other sports and focused solely on the sweet science!

2. BW: What’s your favourite thing about being a fighter?

FB: I love the training and lifestyle that comes with boxing, but for me the glory from winning makes it the best sport in the world. To fight in front of your friends and family after all the hard work and put in a great performance – There is no greater feeling.

3. BW: What does your average daily training regime consist of?

FB: My training schedule varies greatly depending on what mark (Tibbs) wants me to do in the gym. But usually it would consist of some separate cardio work either in the morning, or the evening and a gym session with mark, consisting of pads, bag work, sparring, shadow boxing and circuit training. Myself and mark tend to keep things flexible on how I’m feeling and performing, making sure I am always peaked for a fight.

4. BW: What is your favourite training meal?

FB: Chicken, Pasta, and vegetables, My family know how to cook a healthy yet tasty pasta sauce. When your training hard the body craves protein and carbohydrates, but I always make sure I get plenty of fruit and vegetables.

5. BW: What’s your favourite post fight meal?

FB: Probably something simple, a nice steak sandwich, I don’t tend to eat a lot of bread during my camps so a nice thick sandwich with butter goes down wel haha!

6. BW: Who is your favourite fighter in the game today?

FB: At the moment I love watching Nonito Donaire and Saul Alvarez, they put the shots together very well and both have power in their punches. I like watching boxers that can knock their opponent out at any given moment.

7. BW: who’s your favourite all time fighter?

FB: Probably De La Hoya, I try to emulate some of his attributes. I’m working on that ferocious left hook he had!

8. BW: What’s your favourite punch combination during a fight?

FB: Right hand left hook. If I catch you on the chin with that, then your going over.

9. BW: What’s the hardest thing about being a boxer?

FB: Taking time off, I love being active, but it’s important to take rest periods and there is no rush in this game. But having to take a day off when I’m fit and Boxing well kills me!

10. BW: If you wasn’t a boxer what would you be?

FB: I would be a building surveyor working in the family building company. I only stopped working full time this year to concentrate more on my boxing career.

BW: Well thanks again Frank for the insight today, and good luck for march 16th

FB: No problem Ben, All the best.
