floyd9By Chris Williams: With Manny Pacquiao looking to fight outside of the U.S to escape the high taxes that he’s being hit with whenever he fights in the country, there’s one fighter who still doesn’t mind fighting at home in the U.S regardless of how high the taxes are and that’s Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He doesn’t mind fighting in front of the Americans that made his famous because he realizes that this is where he became famous, and he’s not going to go luck for alternative to squeeze a little cash for himself. Of course, Mayweather makes huge amounts of money whenever he fights, and he’s not giving out a lot of money to his promoter, management and others like some fighters.

Mayweather isn’t looking to flee the country just because the taxes might have gone up a little because he realizes this is where he made his name.

If the country that made you famous is the one that’s giving you the huge cash through U.S pay per view then don’t you kind of owe it to the American fight fans to stay in the country and fight in front of them instead of choosing to take outside of the U.S in order to make more money for yourself? I like the way that Mayweather is still willing to stay here regardless of how much money is being taken out of his huge paychecks.

It wouldn’t be the same if Mayweather chose to fight in another country in order to escape taxes on the money he’s making off of American fans. For me, I would look at Mayweather in a much different way if he were to do that, and I’m pretty glad he’s willing to finish his career fighting in front of his fans instead of having his fights beamed in from another country in order to escape taxes.
