Deontay Wilder set for a 27th straight knockout win!

wilder3By Adam Mccoy: Bronze Bomber Wilder will be facing journeyman Matt Greer next in his 27th pro contest. It’s amazing after 26 fights Deontay is still fighting these guys that have no chance of winning or even no chance of surviving more than 6 rounds. Matt Greer is a lamb being sent to get slaughtered, remember Amir Khans recent critics that Molina was picked for him? It seems that when a boxer suffers a string of defeats they have a tune up to get back into winning ways.

Deontay Wilder is doing the exact opposite because he knows the second he faces someone even ranked in the top 50 chances are he will either get KO’D or found out big style. Wilder instead of stepping up opposition is facing these unknowns or journeymen to keep the KO record going.

I see articles aboud how David Price is wasting his career away fighting guys like Audley Harrison, Matt Skelton and Tony Thompson. Well hes a quick reminder Harrison is a former European title holder and WBA title challenger. Matt Skelton is in the same boat European title holder and WBA title contender. Tony Thompson’s last fight was against Wladimir Klitshcko and fair enough Thompson looked awful but that isn’t the point here. David Price has had only 15 fights that’s 11 less than Wilder however Price is already facing guys that would knock wilder on his backside. Do you really think Wilder would stand a chance against Tony Thompson?

The fact Wilder wanted to fight Tyson Fury makes me laugh. This is obviously garbage to big himself up. Why would Fury waste time fighting this guy? His record means nothing when his list of opponents are unheard of. Matt Greer has a record of 15-8 and is 36 years old. This is Wilder’s 27th fight i cant express that enough. Fury would knock Wilder clean out in 2 rounds maximum. As would David Price, Eddie Chambers, Tomasz Adamek, Odlanier Solis, Robert Helenius. The list could go on and on. Seth Mitchell has recently just been exposed but give him credit because he never ducked a fight he got beat badly but will come back stronger. The fact is nobody cares if your unbeaten with 26 wins and 26 knockouts. People want entertainment.

I don’t hate Deontay Wilder I just hate the Deontay Wilder project of trying to milk his record. If I found out today in his next fight he was facing someone like Dereck Chisora, Jean Mormeck, Basically somebody with half a reputation id take my hat off to him and give him credit then watch him get beat. If he won maybe the hypes real but I guarantee we will never find out because this will continue as long as Deontay Wilder continues boxing.
