Anger, envy and jealousy overwhelms Mayweather’s haters

floyd5645By Babatis Banda: There is a tendency by sadists to choke with hate when they are on the losing side. The result is always to find anything, no matter how flimsy to hung on, or discredit their competitor. The Manny Pacquiao’s destruction by Juan Manuel Marquez has left bitter mouths that are spewing venom at anything Mayweather.

It is becoming a tradition after the aftermath of the Marquez/Pacquiao fight, for the fanatics to pull Mayweather down. It is as if Mayweather should go down with Manny for his spectacular knock-down by Marquez. Since Mayweather came out of his incarceration, he has said very little, but has expressed his desire to fight twice this year. Now it is not the usual argument of who beats who if Floyd Mayweather fights Pacquiao, but it is more of a stinky dirty smear for the genius he is.

There are ‘experts’ all over a sudden screaming murder. They know why Mayweather is fighting this one instead of that one, even when no name has been confirmed yet. There are fake insinuations about how careful choices are being made for Mayweather. We hear how Mayweather is avoiding Martinez and how he is running from Alvarez. Why don’t we hear people demand that Martinez should fight his own size and within his division? If Martinez comes down in weight for the fight to be made, it will never be any good for Mayweather. These people will always claim that Martinez had to be drained in weight and for sure it would affect him, the same way it affected Oscar Delahoa in his fight with Manny Pacquiao.

If Mayweather fights Guerrero and later in the year, Alvarez or vice versa, it would be the best year ever for the real boxing fans. They would see a genius walk over two top fighters within the year. There is still nothing like Mayweather out there, even if he has a tough fight, Floyd has the tools to still pull a win, even on his worst day. Dedication to his craft and the natural boxing instinct that flows in his veins is enough to reign supreme for the next three years or so to come, whoever he fights.

The fact that Pacquiao’s last outing was really stinky does not mean that Floyd should carry some of that burden for Manny. The worst that can happen to someone is to lose your head through hate, envy and jealousy while chocking with anger because it becomes really difficult to heal. Loose it up gentlemen, accept Manny’s fate and wipe the mirror of dust and you will have a sharper image of reality, and you can move on.
