Magee will be looking to beat his third Dane in this fight after having beaten Rudy Markussen and Mads Larsen, both of which are from the same country as Kessler. Magee seems be fighting on a really high level right now, and he’s going to be pretty hard to beat.

Kessler would be wise to cover up well because Magee is punching with a lot of power right now, and he’s the same fighter that loss to Carl Froch and Lucian Bute in the past. Magee has improved and he’s become a better puncher now that he’s sitting down on his shots a lot more than in the past.

Kessler’s chin was exposed in his last fight in getting knocked down in the 1st by a past his best Allan Green earlier this year. Kessler got up and was able to come back to win the fight, but I think he would have been knocked out in that fight had Green the sense enough to go for the knockout in that round. Green said later that he backed off because he felt he could get to Kessler at any time in the fight, so he let him hang around.

It was a bad mistake because Kessler took over the fight and ended up stopping Green. If that was Magee in there that night, Kessler would have been knocked out by Magee is like a dog with a bone when he gets a fighter hurt. He doesn’t let up and he wont stop punching. You’d have to try Magee off of Kessler if he had him hurt because he won’t stop punching. Magee is a great finisher, which is why he has so many knockouts on his record.
