Fury said on his twitter “I don’t give a toss about you idiots. When I’m world champ your all gonna be laughed at. Jealous mugs. My fans I love. The p**** can f/off.”

I hate to say it but I don’t see Fury ever becoming an actual world champion. I see him as one of those interim world champion types, but not the real deal. He’s never going to beat the Klitschkos. That’s a given right there. And he’ll run into BIG problems if and when he fights guys like Chris Arreola, Seth Mitchell, Deontay Wilder, Alexander Povetkin and Kubrat Pulev. Those guys know how to punch and don’t slap like Fury.

They can throw jabs and have excellent defensive skills. They don’t just turn their heads to take big shots on the side of their heads when they spot an incoming shot. Those guys know how to block punches or at least move away from it so it takes the impact out of it.

I just don’t see Fury getting to the next level. He had his moment in the spotlight when he briefly held own the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles, but he gave up those domestic level straps rather than fight David Price. Now Fury is just facing guys like Martin Rogan and Vinny Maddalone. It’s kind of disappointing when you think about it, but then again maybe Fury feels hesitant to step it up and face the talented fighters in boxing.

Fury fights Kevin Johnson (28-2-1, 13 KO’s) on December 1st, and a lot of boxing fans aren’t impressed with this choice of an opponent given that Johnson just got beat by Tor Hamer in the Prizefighter tourney.
