Image: Ricky Hatton looking tremendous in preparation for his fight against SenchenkoBy Marcus Stewart: Legendary British fighter Ricky Hatton is looking in tremendous shape for his upcoming fight against former WBA welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko on November 24th at the Manchester Arena, in Manchester, England. Hatton looks lean, mean and ready to rumble. His hand speed’s looking once again fantastic along with his awesome power. Hatton’s under the tuition of Bob Shannon and is therefore going to learn a lot from the talented British trainer. He’s been slated off weirdly enough for losing “too much weight” by certain writers, one in particular, yet what else is he supposed to do? Fight with all that weight, unhealthy, etc. Pretty laughable for someone to state that if you ask me.

Senchenko does bring a fair bit to the table when it comes to power. He does possess a solid straight right which is his main weapon. Nevertheless I’m sure that Hatton will be wary of that and make sure that he’s able to get his punches off first. Senchenko is coming off of a loss to Paulie Malignaggi but at his age now this is last chance saloon for him as it is too for Hatton.

I can’t see this fight going the distance and I can see Hatton winning this within 5-6 rounds. Hatton’s the quicker and harder puncher and I can just see him catching Senchenko with a solid over hand right which knocks the former WBA champion to the ground. Once Hatton makes this statement he will be feared stateside by the likes of Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander.
