Harrison Boxing to Host its Second Amateur Boxing Event December 1st in Richmond B.C.

November 9 2012 – Delta BC- Ladner resident Greg Harrison of Harrison Boxing (www.harrisonboxing.com ), a former boxer turned trainer, is hosting his second amateur boxing event Saturday December 1st in Richmond at the Richmond Sports Club.

Greg notes “Our show last year was a smashing success, in no small part to our young Ladner fighter, Josh van Rhyn. His city title bout was awarded ‘fight of the year’ and everyone that attended said it was one of the more exciting amateur matches they had seen. Due to an injury Josh will not be part of this event but we have an exciting line up for boxing fans. “

“For this event, I am pleased to announce we are putting a BC title on the line for our main event. We also will have two young female amateur boxers competing in the mix. “

Greg went on to say “We offering up a great prize draw for any donations to the food bank. Just bring your item with you and you will be entered.”

The Harrison boxing program is based on some very basic principles. It develops a high cardiovascular level of fitness to help perform techniques properly, but most importantly the program is based upon the theory “Have a strong mind, you will have a strong body.” Greg believes whether you think can or think you can’t – you’re right!
