Ricky Hatton in tip top condition for his fight with Senchenko

By Marcus Stewart: Ricky Hatton is without a doubt one of the best light welterweights of all time and generally one of the best boxers of all time. He is an icon, a legend, a force to be reckoned with. He’s shot down fighters such as Kostya Tszyu, Jose Luis Castillo and Juan Lazcano to prove why he’s a complete and utter animal in the ring.

His upcoming fight with Senchenko will prove to many that the “Hitman” is back. Senchenko is a real puncher and could give Hatton problems. Nevertheless with Hatton’s amazing boxing brain I’m sure he’ll be able to do the job and announce himself back onto the world stage. He’s lost a lost of weight for this fight and looks in fantastic lean condition which proves to you about how seriously he’s taking this comeback which is definitely going to be a problem for many fighters stateside who I’m sure were hoping Hatton would comeback fatigued and overweight.

I can see Hatton comfortably beating guys like Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley. This is because Devon Alexander has shown that he can’t take a punch, isn’t that technical and has no heart after quitting against Bradley. Timothy Bradley is a very crude fighter with literally no punching power; therefore Hatton would be able to exploit that easily. If Hatton were to get into the ring with either of these two I can see him schooling both of them or worse knocking them out cold. Hatton is much more talented than those two Americans and his boxing skill and his punching power would be the difference.

Ricky Hatton is back. I’m pretty sure many upcoming American fighters were quaking in their boots when they found out that the hitman had returned. He is a feared man in the sport of boxing and I believe that he could take down anyone in the welterweight division. Right now I rate Ricky Hatton higher that WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, WBA champion Paulie Malignaggi and IBF champion Randall Bailey and this is even before he’s fought Senchenko. Ricky Hatton is a complete monster in the ring and I doubt many would want to take on the talented British boxer.
