Image: Pacquiao's predicament: Take the bigger money against Cotto or Marquez or try and avenge his loss to Bradley?By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao is in a bind right now, because no matter what choice he makes for his next fight on November 10th, he’s not going to get what he wants 100 percent. Making a decision is going to cut off one avenge for the Filipino where he won’t be able to get entirely what he wants.

Pacquiao’s choices of opponents are between three fighters – Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez and Tim Bradley. The options that will guarantee Pacquiao another $25 million payday are fights against Cotto and Marquez. However, if Pacquiao chooses one of them, he won’t get the opportunity to try and avenge his embarrassing loss to Tim Bradley. That obviously is a major priority for Pacquiao because he wants to show his boxing fans that he’s the better fighter, but for him to do that he’ll have to accept making a lot less money than he normally does because the Bradley-Pacquiao rematch will be lucky to draw even 700,000 pay per view buys.

Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum seems to have already revealed his hand by hinting that he’d prefer to see Pacquiao fight Marquez or Cotto by speaking of them in glowing terms. Arum wants to maximize revenue for Pacquiao and who can blame him, because he gets a well paid when Pacquiao does well on PPV.

So, Pacquiao has to decide whether to take the short money and try and avenge his loss to Bradley or take the bigger cash against Marquez or Cotto, but not get the chance to fight Bradley. The negative about that is that Bradley could be beaten in his next fight if he fights anyone half way decent that has good power and who can fight for a full three minutes of every round instead of just 20 to 30 seconds.

Bradley is vulnerable to getting beaten by many fighters in the top 15 in the welterweight division. It’s kind of telling that Pacquiao didn’t have the engine and ability to beat him.
